Lunch Programs

The Old Orchard Lower School and Upper School campuses each offer options to have lunch delivered to your student on a daily basis. Families who use these programs should still send their student to school with a snack for recess and another if students will also be in after-school. Parents with older students may need to send additional snacks - they seem to go through large quantities.

All students are supervised during lunch and we do our best to ensure they eat well. However, if you have any concerns about your child and food, please be sure to let us know and we will be especially vigilant.

Lower School Daily Hot Lunch

The Lower School hot lunch program is provided by Uncle Ray's Catering. Parents simply sign up on line under the Old Orchard account and Uncle Ray's delivers and serves your student's lunch. For the 2009-2010 school year, Uncle Ray's will begin serving on Tuesday, September 8. Parents may place their online orders now.

Upper School Lunch Program

Upper School students may order lunch from Subway; service for the 2009-2010 school year will begin on Thursday, September 18. Until then, students should bring their lunch daily. Subway orders are due in the Upper School office no later than Friday, September 11. You may download the order form here, complete it and turn it in with checks made our to subway. OOSL Hot Lunch Wednesdays

The Old Orchard Service League (OOSL) offers hot lunch at both campuses on Wednesdays starting September 30, 2009. Signup information will be sent home shortly after school begins; the menu for the fall term is available here. This program is a fund raiser for OOSL and the school and it is run entirely by parent volunteers. The coordinator this year is parent Nessi Lockwood. The program always need and welcome more volunteers! If you are interested in helping, please contact Nessi.

Other lunch options are not available on OOSL Hot Lunch Wednesdays.
