To be considered in the first round of decisions, a completed online application package (including the application fee and all required supporting materials) must be received no later than January 22, 2025.  Tuition Assistance applications are due January 17, 2025.  Following these dates, applications will be accepted and processed on a rolling basis once the first round of admissions is complete.

We encourage prospective families to visit campus in person well in advance of the application due date. If possible, it is best to attend an Open House event as well as a School-Day Tour. We hold two Open House events each year typically in early Nov and mid Jan. School-Day Tours are available Sept-May each school year.

For Jr. Kindergarten, candidates must be at least four years old by September 1 of the year they will enter Jr. Kindergarten. 

For Kindergarten, candidates must be at least five years old before September 1 of the year they will enter Kindergarten.

Yes! We welcome applications from international students with grade-level English skills. However,  please be advised that Old Orchard does not offer a program for International Students, nor do we issue I-20 visas.

Yes! We accept mid-year transfer applications for grades with available seats. Please contact the admission office at (408) 680-2330 or admission@oldorchardschool.com to see if space is available in your grade(s) of interest.

Yes! Our Extended Day program is available until 6:00 pm daily. We have our standard After-School Care plus a variety of After-School Enrichment class options. Please visit the Extended Day page for more detailed information. 

No, the application fee is non-refundable.

Yes! Lunch service is offered 5 days a week in partnership with My Green Lunch. A large variety of options are available each day, including vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free meals. Learn more here.

You will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours of submitting your application. Once your application has been received, you will have access to your child's Admission Checklist which outlines supporting materials needed and next steps. Admission notifications for first round offers are typically sent via email in mid March.
