Each school year, Old Orchard School is able to offer a limited amount of tuition assistance to financially eligible families. To help evaluate tuition assistance decisions, Old Orchard uses FACTS Tuition Management’s Grant & Aid tool. Applicants must complete FACTS’ on-line Grant & Aid Financial Needs Assessment. This provides a starting point to help Old Orchard make fair and objective tuition assistance decisions.
- Tuition Assistance applications received by February 16, 2018 for the 2018-19 school year will be considered for the first round of packages.
- A completed application for admission to Old Orchard must be submitted before the school is able to consider or discuss tuition assistance.
- Applying for tuition assistance does not influence the school’s admission decisions in any way; if your child is eligible for admission, he or she will be offered a place at Old Orchard regardless of financial need or the school’s ability to offer assistance.
- Applying for tuition assistance in no way guarantees Old Orchard will be able to offer assistance.
To complete the Tuition Assistance application Process:
Submit a FACTS Grant & Aid Financial Needs Assessment.
As a part of the FACTS assessment, you will be asked for your most recent tax return, supporting schedules and a current W-2. FACTS will charge a fee for this service.
Provide a written statement to the OOS Business Office in the comments section of the FACTS application explaining any circumstances that you would like considered as part of the assessment.
New families will be notified of the assistance package when you receive your offer letter, provided you have a submitted and verified Grant & Aid application.
